Dada Sadananda (born 1978, Novoaltaysk, Russia) is a yogic monk and teacher of yoga and meditation. He is the founder of the online project Meditation Steps (also known as Lessons of Meditation), whose YouTube channels had over 763,000 subscribers by February 2025.
Biography
Born in 1978 in Novoaltaysk (Russia), Dada Sadananda began his meditative path in 1996, and in the early 2000s undertook monastic training in Sweden and India before dedicating himself fully to teaching yoga, meditation and yogic philosophy.
Over two decades he has delivered seminars worldwide, trained over 80 instructors, guided more than 2,000 practitioners personally, and introduced a universal meditation technique to nearly half a million people via his YouTube channels (over 763 000 subscribers as of February 2025).

Since 2014, Dada has run his YouTube channels, presenting yoga philosophy and meditation in an accessible way for daily life. In addition to his online presence, he conducts international seminars every year, including regular events in the UK. He is also the organiser of a holistic development centre currently under construction in the Altai region of Russia.
